Scope and Contents

Folder includes photographs of student designs for a one-room house circa 1952-1953. Also includes renderings and models from the 1950s and 1960s, from a model making course taught by Alexander Breckenridge. The only student designer named is Ronald Brooks, with a photograph of his "modern living room" (which won first prize in a student design competition sponsored by NYSID and Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corp) and an accompanying label documenting the sources for the objects and finishes in the room.
