This folder contains mixed paper and newsprint documents, as well as original drawings on tracing paper and vellum, and one actual material sample. The bulk of the folder is correspondence with publisher Random House surrounding the "Super Living Rooms" book, as well as correspondence with other colleagues. The original drawings are also similar to illustrations in the book. There is also information about and a resume for artist Sally Janin.

Malino sent the rug designs to Susan Grant Lewin, editor of House Beautiful, as suggestions for a potential client of hers--Malino called this rug design series "Dots, Squares and Stripes".
