Biographical / Historical
From a Vladimir Kagan press release: "Dennis Miller Associates is known for its progressive designs of modern furniture. It is an innovative resource for residential and contract furnishings designed by architects, artists and craftspeople".
Architect Dennis Miller founded his company and showroom Dennis Miller Associates in 1985. Over the next three decades, Miller commissioned and produced small runs of custom "studio" furniture, lighting and other interior furnishing pieces, acting almost as an artist's agent/representative/distributor for dozens of designers (some well-known at the time, others not). Other projects of Miller's included limited reproduction of important furniture pieces by Frank Lloyd Wright in conjunction with the FLW estate (b.6) and Morris Lapidus.
