Inner city school design curriculum, 1971-1972
Scope and Contents
This folder contains mixed paper and newsprint documents, including a good amount of clippings and research into HUD, inner city schools, and ethnic design. It also includes an article about Malino's design titled "Model Suite Opens in New Area B Apartments", and one letter references a "booklet describing the low budget apartment I designed for the NYC Planning Commission! The apartment was based on a 3-bedroom prototype in a Bedford-Stuyvesant Model Cities Program apartment building; the over-all budget was $700" (actual booklet is not present in folder). The folder also includes "Tuesday at Home" supplement to the Washington Sunday Star, an African American publication.
