Cadon (carpet) Room sets
Scope and Contents
This folder contains 5 black and white photographic prints and 8 large-format transparencies. Information on back of one print describes how institutional design concepts (hospital and hotel) influenced this residential design for living room, study and bedroom. Other images are labeled "Cadon brownstone", "Cadon school room", "Cadon California library" and "Cadon Victorian living room" (This last image was also used as an example in one of Malino's Advanced Decorating Courses published by Sears). Cadon was the brand of carpet used; this was a Monsanto project.
