Biography
Gilbert Werlé joined the staff in 1931 after graduating from the Diploma program. He was assistant to Sherrill Whiton and served as Dean from 1931 - 1972 (except during World War II when he served in the U.S. Army in Europe). He was the co-director with Sherrill Whiton Jr. in 1972 and 1973.
