Biography
One of the country’s oldest and largest wholesalers of decorative fabric, JOFA Inc. started in New York by George Johnson in 1823. In 1965, the company was acquired by Arthur H. Lee & Sons.

The materials in this collection document the career of Joe Martin, textiles designer and interior renderer active in the mid-to-late 20th century who worked both in the United States and in Europe.
