Materials in this collection are mainly visual and consist of hand painted designs created by surface designer Joann Nelsen from the 1970s - 1990s. The collection also contains a small amount of correspondence, business papers, ephemera and photographs related to both her early career as a fine artist as well as her later career as a textiles and wallcoverings designer.
