Contracts and Professional Material, 1980 - 1995

This folder contains mixed paper documents, brochures, receipts and handwritten notes. Contracts include copyright documentation for Half Drop Designs Lts "Botanical Kitchen Print", Schumacher/Waverly, Design Inspirations and First Editions. There is significant documentation surrounding Nelsen's membership in the Graphic Artists Guild, including newsletters and receipts for membership payments. There is correspondence from the Textile Designers Guild about their show Surface Design '80 at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and the results of a demographic survey of textile designers. There are also handwritten notes about the London textile show, and a brochure from the Victoria and Albert Museum. Finally, there is a photocopied article from the Daily News Record from Sept 1 1978, about designer Sumner Barr titled "Designing Textiles: Conflict at the Drawing Board".
